Coronavirus

A letter from the Chair of the Parish council prepared in cooperation with local retail businesses outlining support services and appealing for volunteers to help the community during this difficult period has been hand delivered to all residents in the Parish. A copy of the letter can be downloaded here.

Huntingdon District Council have published a new website to provide updates on services that may be affected by the Coronavirus epidemic. We have added this website to our Useful Links or you can access it directly here.

Abbots Ripton Estate have published a local map of permissive footpaths, cycle ways and bridleways. These operate in addition to the public footpaths that cross the Estate land.

Network Rail Level Crossing Closure – Work has been completed for the closure of the level crossing on Rectory Lane Abbots Ripton. Footpath re-routed details can be accessed on the link to the map.

The first section of the new A14 Huntingdon bypass opens December 9th. The Highways England map showing the detail is attached. A key point to note is that on opening, the section of the old A14 from Spittals to Godmanchester will be closed.
